At ICARENP, our nurse practitioners are trained to take care of your complex individual health care needs. Our nurse practitioners can prescribe medications, order testing and labs, and make referrals if needed.

ICARENP does not currently accept insurances. But, your labs, testing, and medications might be covered if you have insurance coverage. You can also submit your visit receipt to your insurance carrier or your HSA.

Compounded Semaglutide is prescribed and made for individual patients in licensed US Pharmacies. Compounds are tested for potency, sterility, and purity but they do not have FDA pre-market approval due to their personalized nature, potentially varying in dosage, administration, and efficacy from commercial medications.
At ICARENP, we only work with sterile compounding pharmacies that are licensed with the State Board of Pharmacy and FDA-approved 503(a) or 503(b) outsourcing facilities. These facilities undergo strict inspections, but because the compounded pharmaceuticals they produce are made according to a prescription from a specific practitioner for a particular patient, they are not FDA-approved.
